Bhagavad Gita 12.13

अद्वेष्टा सर्वभूतानां मैत्रः करुण एव च ।adveṣṭā sarvabhūtānāṃ maitraḥ karuṇa eva ca |

निर्ममो निरहङ्कारः समदुःखसुखः क्षमी ॥nirmamo nirahaṅkāraḥ samaduḥkhasukhaḥ kṣamī ||

Meaning

One who bears no ill will to any being, who is friendly and compassionate, free of possessiveness and ego, even in joy and sorrow, and forgiving (the description of the devotee dear to Krishna continues in 12.14).

जो किसी प्राणी से द्वेष नहीं करता, सबका मित्र और दयालु है, ममता और अहंकार से रहित है, सुख-दुःख में समान और क्षमाशील है (प्रिय भक्त का यह वर्णन 12.14 में पूरा होता है)।
