Birth-time rectification helper
Give an approximate birth-time window and 3 to 10 dated life events. Each candidate time is checked against the traditional significations of the dashas running at those events.
Approximate, for exploration only. This helper cannot determine your birth time. Scores only show which candidate times agree with a few simplified traditional rules; different rules can rank them differently. Please consult an experienced astrologer before relying on any rectified time.

How the helper works
- Every candidate time in the window gets its own Lagna and Moon position; the Moon position sets the Vimshottari dasha balance at birth.
- For each event the Mahadasha and Antardasha lords running on that date (local noon) are found.
- A dasha lord supports an event when it rules the event's house counted from the candidate Lagna, is placed in that house (whole signs), or is the event's natural karaka.
- Each supporting lord adds 1, so each event scores 0 to 2. Candidate times are ranked by the total.
- Simplifications: Rahu and Ketu count only by placement or as karaka; aspects, divisional charts, yogas, transits and the fuller maraka rules for a parent's death are not used.
