See your birth chart the Lal Kitab way: the fixed-house chart, each planet’s house reading, pakka ghar, sleeping planets and houses, dharmi planets, rin indications, masnui planets and the traditional low-cost upay.

Beta Separate tradition Lal Kitab is a separate tradition from Parashari Jyotish, with its own rules. This section is Beta: the rules shown are commonly printed forms, and Lal Kitab editions and teachers differ on several of them. Readings are traditional indications, not predictions.

About Lal Kitab

Lal Kitab (“the red book”) is a body of five Urdu volumes attributed to Pt. Roop Chand Joshi of Punjab, published between 1939 and 1952 (Lal Kitab ke Farmaan 1939, Lal Kitab ke Armaan 1940, Gutka 1941, the revised 1942 volume and the final 1952 edition). It reads the chart by fixed houses and is known for simple household remedies (upay).

The Lal Kitab Varshphal (the 120-year table that moves the houses year by year) is not included: we could not verify a public copy of the table, so it is left out rather than guessed.
