रोमन ओळ देवनागरीवरून तयार केलेले IAST लिप्यंतरण आहे (ā = दीर्घ आ, ṃ = अनुस्वार, ḥ = विसर्ग, ś/ṣ = श/ष, c = च). हिंदी, अवधी आणि ब्रज पाठांमध्ये शब्दाच्या शेवटचा अनुच्चारित “a” लिहिला जात नाही. लिप्यंतरणात वैदिक स्वर दिसत नाहीत.
